2023年10月26日至28日，由中国教育部教育国际交流协会主办的“突破·联通：共聚教育的力量”第24届中国国际教育年会在北京国家会议中心召开。年会设全体大会、平行论坛、合作洽谈、教育展览等七大板块，涵盖近百场国际教育交流活动，吸引了60余个国家和地区的4500余名中外教育界人士、驻华使领馆官员和企业代表参加。我校校长王磊应邀参会，特莱恩工学院、国际处、科技处等单位领导陪同参加相关活动。
From October 26 to 28, 2023, the 24th China Annual Conference & Expo for International Education themed "breakthrough and connection: gather the power of education", sponsored by the China Education Association for International Exchange under the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, was held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. The annual conference comprised seven sections, such as the plenary meeting, parallel forum, cooperation negotiation and education exhibition, offering nearly 100 international education exchange activities, embracing over 4,500 educational professionals, officials of diplomatic and consular missions in China and business representatives from over 60 countries and regions.
26日，王磊一行参加了年会全体大会，聆听了教育部部长怀进鹏院士的现场致辞。参加了由教育部教育国际交流协会主办，中教国际交流中心和陕西师范大学共同承办的“第四届中美省州大学校长论坛”。中国教育部副部长陈杰、陕西省教育厅厅长王树声及中美大学校长等近百人出席。论坛以建设高质量与美教育交流合作体系，拓宽合作渠道，聚力教育资源，分享中美教育合作智慧与方案，探索人才培养和科研合作新路径为目的；以“深化中美大学合作内涵，加强中美大学资源共享，构建具有地方特色和行业特色的人才培养与科研合作平台”为主题。论坛期间，王磊就会议主旨议题与参会领导、校长和专家们进行了亲切友好和务实的交流。
On October 26, Wang Lei and his delegation attended the plenary meeting and listened to the speech delivered by Academician Huai Jinpeng, Minister of Education. According to Academician Huai Jinpeng, the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has set out a blueprint for advancing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on all fronts through a Chinese path to modernization, in which the basic and strategic supporting roles of education, science and technology and human resources in the modernization drive will be further highlighted, with three initiatives proposed: First, to strengthen interconnectivity and sharing, and make education the basic force for promoting all-round human development; Second, to focus on breakthrough and innovation, and make education a key to economic and social development; Third, to learn from each other and make education lead the prosperity of human civilization. Tamara Rastovac Siamashvili, Executive Board Chairperson of UNESCO, Jang Sang-yoon, Vice Minister of Education of South Korea, and Zaha Farrar, Secretary General of the African Association of Technical Universities and Applied Colleges, respectively addressed the meeting. Several educators and representatives, including Zhang Donggang, Party Secretary of Renmin University of China; Ding Kuiling, President of Shanghai Jiao Tong University; Xue Qikun, President of Southern University of Science and Technology; Deng Yaping, table tennis world champion; Catriona Jackson, CEO of Universities Australia; Lee Gi-Ching, President of Hanyang University in South Korea; Terry Brown, Vice President of the Association of State Universities and Colleges in the United States; Qiao Lejie, chief vocational education expert at the Department for Business and Trade in the United Kingdom, delivered keynote speeches.

27至28日，王磊一行参加了“数字化背景下高等教育面临的挑战与机遇”“一带一路十周年：教育国际交流成就与未来研讨会”“启赋未来教育：中外合作办学研讨会”“新机遇·新挑战·新路径：中外合作办学质量保障研讨会”“数字时代的中外合作办学与语言学习”等多场国际化大学教育和中外合作办学会议，并就我校教育国际化、人才培养、中外办学质量保障和英语语言学习与培训等方面内容与与会者做了深入交流。
From October 27 to 28, Wang Lei and his delegation participated in several international university education and Sino-foreign cooperative education conferences, including "Challenges and Opportunities for Higher Education in the Context of Digitalization", "The 10th Anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative: Seminar on the Achievements and Future of International Education Exchanges", "Inspiring Future Education: Seminar on Sino-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools", "New Opportunities, New Challenges, New Paths: Seminar on Quality Assurance of Sino-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools”, and “Sino-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools and Language Learning in the Digital Age”, and had in-depth exchanges with the attendees on the internationalization of our school's education, talent training, quality assurance of Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools, and English language learning and training.
会议间歇，王磊率队访问了北京航空航天大学北航学院，参观了北航学院“一站式”学生社区中心，聆听了北航学院士嘉书院“一站式”社区创新建设的报告，与北航学院各书院领导和辅导员交流了书院群建设实施运行经验。参观了中国共产党历史展览馆。
During the break of the conference, Wang Lei led his team to visit the Beihang School of Beihang University. They visited the "one-stop" student community center of Beihang School, listened to the report "Make System Planning, Innovate Mechanism, and Strive to Create a Strong Position of One-stop Community Education" made by Lv Jingwei, executive dean of Shijia College, Beihang School, and exchanged experience in the construction, implementation and operation of colleges with the leaders and counselors of the colleges of Beihang School. In addition, they visited the Historical Exhibition Hall of the Communist Party of China, and reviewed the development history of the Party and the country, consolidating the foundation of faith and gathering forward force from the century-long struggle of the Party. All members were more deeply aware that the red regime had not come easily, the new China had not come easily, and socialism with Chinese characteristics had not come easily, had a deeper understanding that why the Communist Party of China is capable, why Marxism is practicable, and why socialism with Chinese characteristics is good, and more deeply realized that to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, we must have the courage to fight a great struggle, and earnestly strengthen the ideological consciousness and action consciousness of taking responsibility for work. They strengthened the determination to realize the internationalization of our school and improve the quality of Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools, and enhanced the confidence in contributing to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the "Belt and Road".
29至30日，王磊一行随中美省州大学校长团返回西安参加中美高校合作交流会。会议期间，王磊校长就中外合作办学相关问题和美国多所大学进行了深入交流，美国威斯康星大学斯托特分校和北亚利桑那州州立大学均表示了强烈的合作意愿。
From October 29 to 30, invited by the Education Department of Shaanxi Province, Wang Lei and his delegation returned to Xi'an together with the presidents of Chinese and American universities for the Sino-US University Cooperation and Exchange Conference. At the start of the conference, several leaders and guests, including Wang Haibo, Deputy Director of the Education Department of Shaanxi Province, Sufei Li, Deputy Director of China/Asia Affairs of the American Association of State Universities and Colleges, Zhang Jing, director of the Center for International Education Exchange of China, made a speech. After that, more than 20 universities in Shaanxi, such as Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology, Xi'an University of Science and Technology, Xi'an University of Posts and Telecommunications, and five state universities in the United States, such as Millersville University of Pennsylvania and University of Wisconsin, made presentation and carried out negotiation. During the meeting, President Wang Lei had in-depth exchanges with several universities in the United States on issues related to Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools, and the University of Wisconsin-Stout and Northern Arizona State University both expressed strong willingness to cooperate.

此次参会交流，深入了解了国家教育开放政策和国内外大学院校国际化的先进经验及管理办法，拓展了国际合作的渠道，为我校深化国际化建设内涵和中外合作办学高质量推进提供了有益借鉴和发展方案。
This meeting, through which we deeply felt the strong momentum of China's education internationalization drive, realized the determination of the country in educational opening and exchange, learned the advanced experience and management methods of internationalization of domestic and foreign universities, and expanded the channels of international cooperation, has provided useful references and development programs for our university to deepen the connotation of internationalization drive and the high-quality promotion of Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools.
