根据教务处《关于开学第一课检查》通知要求，学院积极安排部署，全院行政人员与无课教师，深入课堂，持续一周到教室检查到课率、抬头率。让学生尽快调整学习状态，投入新学期学习中，同时对检查过程中发现的问题，积极与相关教室和负责部门联系沟通，及时解决。
According to the requirements of the notice of the Academic Affairs Office on the Inspection of the First Class at the Beginning of the Semester, the Institute actively arranged and deployed the administrative staff of the whole Institute and teachers not taking class to check the class attendance rate and the head-up rate in the classroom, which lasted for a week. 2月25日和2月26日，学院分别召开了行政工作会议，全院教职工会议、专业负责人会议、学科带头人学科比赛安排会议等内容，分层次、分内容、分模块进行新学期相关工作的安排部署。会上，参会教师按照新学期学院工作计划与安排，根据各自分工和职责，不断商讨，积极为学院建设建言献策，为新的一年开好头。

语言培训持续进行，不断提高学生英语水平

作为中美合作办学机构，学生较强英语语言水平始终是学好美方核心课程的关键。自建院以来，英语语言课外培训未间断。寒假期间，学院面向全院学生，使用英语线上APP，督促学生学习大卡。学生开学返校后，从2月26日至29日，立即组织未通过多邻国考试学生全面进行线下培训，从开始内容，考试模块，相关英语语言知识与技巧进行全面讲解。同时，举行多邻国开始经验交流会，邀请高分学生分享经验。培训结束后，随即开展大规模多邻国考试，将数计学院网络机房和学院空置办公室设置为封闭考场，前看为学生英语学习和考试保驾护航，提高学生通过率。
As a Sino-US cooperative school, a good mastery of English is always the key to learning the core curriculum of the American side. Extracurricular training in the English language has not been discontinued since the establishment of the Institute. During the winter vacation, the Institute launched an English online APP for all students to urge them to study. After students returned to school, from February 26 to 29, the Institute organized a comprehensive offline training for students who did not pass the Duolingo exam, providing a comprehensive explanation on the relevant English language knowledge and skills from the entry content to the exam modules. At the same time, a Duolingo exam experience exchange meeting was held to invite students with high scores to share their experiences. After the training, a large-scale Duolingo examination was carried out immediately, using the network computer room of the College of Mathematics and the vacant office of the Institute as the closed examination rooms to escort the English learning and examination of students and improve the passing rate of students.
