President Liu Limin of the China Education Association for International Exchange and his Delegation Visited the Institute for Research
2024年11月25-27日，中国教育国际交流协会会长、教育部原副部长刘利民，协会副秘书长安延，会员工作部、综合部（人事处）副主任刘筱蒙和会员工作部高级项目主管许敬花一行4人来院调研指导工作。
From November 25 to 27, 2024, Liu Limin, President of the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) and former Deputy Minister of Education, along with An Yan, Deputy Secretary-General of the CEAIE, Liu Xiaomeng, Deputy Director of the Membership Work Department and the General Department (Human Resources Office), and Xu Jinghua, Senior Project Manager of the Membership Work Department, visited the Institute for research and guidance.
11月26日上午，调研座谈会在南校区第二会议室举行。刘利民一行与陕西理工大学党委书记赵晓林、校长王磊、副校长艾桃桃，以及学校相关职能部门和学院负责人进行交流座谈。汉中市人民政府副市长郑雪梅、市教育局副局长刘键参加了座谈会。
The morning of November 26 witnessed a symposium in the second conference room of the southern campus. The delegation, including Liu Limin, engaged in exchanges with Zhao Xiaolin, Secretary of CPC Shaanxi University of Technology Committee, President Wang Lei, Vice President Ai Taotao, as well as heads of relevant functions of the University and the leaders of the Institute. Zheng Xuemei, Deputy Mayor of Hanzhong Municipal People's Government, and Liu Jian, Deputy Director of the Municipal Education Bureau, also participated in the symposium.
会上，赵晓林对刘利民一行的到来表示欢迎，对中国教育国际交流协会给予学校的支持与帮助表示感谢。他在介绍学校建设发展历程的同时，强调要紧抓国家加快和扩大教育对外开放的重要机遇，立足汉中、面向世界、准确识变、科学应变、主动求变，进一步深化开放融合，加强改革创新，不断提升学校核心竞争力和社会影响力，为高等教育对外开放再谱新章贡献智慧与力量。
During the symposium, Zhao Xiaolin extended a warm welcome to Liu Limin and his team and expressed his gratitude to the CEAIE for its support and assistance to the University. Introducing the development course of the University, he underscored the importance of seizing the significant opportunities presented by the State's acceleration and expansion of opening-up in education. He stressed the need to take root in Hanzhong and go global. That will mean perceiving and making right responses to changes for proactive transformation. This will help further deepen integration and openness and strengthen reform and innovation for the University’s growing core competitiveness and social influence. He called for contributing wisdom and strength for a new chapter in the opening-up push of higher education.
随后，王磊作了《数智化时代 地方高校的使命与担当》专题汇报，从学校情况、光荣使命、机遇挑战、担当作为、探索改革和建设成效六方面，汇报了数智化时代背景下，学校服务“一带一路”建设的思考和举措。他表示，学校将在中国教育国际交流协会的指导下，锚定教育强国建设目标，加快高质量教育体系构建，推动教育科技人才一体化发展，为国家建设培养出更多具有国际视野、创新精神和社会责任感的高素质人才。
After that, Wang Lei delivered a special report titled The Mission and Responsibility of Local Universities in the Digital Intelligence Era. He reported on the University's thinking and initiatives in serving the efforts in the “One Belt, One Road” Initiate in the context of the digital intelligence era from six aspects: the University's realities, glorious mission, opportunities and challenges, actions and responsibilities, exploration and reform, and construction fruits. He stated that guided by the CEAIE, the University will align its efforts to build an educational power. To make it happen, it will accelerate its work on a high-quality education system to seek the integrated development of education, science, and talent. This will cultivate more high-quality talents with an international perspective, a spirit of innovation, and a sense of social responsibility for the nation's construction.
刘利民在听取汇报后，对学校的教育理念、改革举措，以及在“一带一路”建设、服务区域经济和社会发展中所取得的阶段性成效予以高度评价。他强调，要坚持以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导，深入学习贯彻党的二十大和二十届二中、三中全会精神，全面实施科教兴国、人才强国和创新驱动发展，加快建设教育强国。同时，他还表示中国教育国际交流协会将继续支持学校发展，勉励学校进一步扩大教育交流成果，努力培养更多让党放心、爱国奉献、担当民族复兴重任的时代新人。
After listening to the report, Liu Limin spoke highly of the University's educational philosophy, reform initiatives, and the staged results achieved in the work on the “One Belt, One Road” Initiate and the service of regional economic and social development. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly studying and implementing the guiding principles from the 20th CPC National Congress and the 2nd and 3rd Plenary Sessions of the 20th CPC Central Committee. That requires comprehensively implementing the ambition of revitalizing the country through science and education, strengthening the country with talents, and innovation-driven development so as to move faster for a power in education. At the same time, he also said that the CEAIE will continue to support the development of the University, encourage the University to seek more fruits from educational exchanges and strive to cultivate more talents of the times who can put the Party at ease, are patriotic and dedicated, and shoulder the important responsibility of national rejuvenation.
郑雪梅代表学校所在地政府，对中国教育国际交流协会给予地方教育发展的关注表示感谢，并表示将继续加强属地政策支持，充分发挥高等教育的龙头作用，深度融合地方资源，促进产学研用与地方经济协同发展，全面贯彻落实国家“一带一路”倡议。
Zheng Xuemei, representing the local government where the University is located, expressed her gratitude to the CEAIE for their attention to the development of local education. She stated that the local government will continue to strengthen policy support to fully leverage the leading role of higher education by deeply integrating local resources for the coordinated industry-university-research development, and application with the local economy as a way to fully implement the national “One Belt, One Road” Initiate.
调研期间，刘利民一行实地走访了学院教师办公室、双创实验室、项目式实验室、党团活动室、图书室等区域，了解了学院建设发展沿革、教学科研平台设施、实验实训场地使用等运行情况。
During the research visit, Liu Limin and his delegation visited areas of the Institute, including faculty offices, innovation and entrepreneurship laboratories, project-based laboratories, party and league activity rooms, and the library. They gained an understanding of the Institute's development history, teaching and research platforms, and the utilization of experimental and training facilities.
