特莱恩工学院召开督导检查反馈与教师座谈会,力促教学质量提升

Trine Engineering Institute held supervisors’ inspection feedback  and teachers’ forum to enhance teaching quality.

为进一步加强学院教学质量监控与保障体系建设,促进教学质量稳步提升,2024年12月26日,我院于博思楼1201会议室举行了督导、教师见面会。学院教学督导组成员与各专业授课教师齐聚一堂,针对本学期常规教学检查、中期检查工作中的关键问题展开深入交流,立足学院教学实际,精心谋划教学发展,全面提升教学质量。

To further strengthen the construction of teaching quality monitoring and safeguarding system and promote steady improvement , We held forum between supervisors and teachers in Room 1201 of the Bosi Building on December 26th, 2024.  Supervisor team and teachers gathered together to have in-depth exchanges on key issues during the regular teaching and mid-term inspection this semester. Based on teaching reality, they carefully planned the development of teaching to comprehensively improve teaching quality.

本学期,学院督导工作扎实推进,累计听课88次、看课10次,覆盖39门课程,优良率达到87%,展现出整体良好的教学风貌。10月下旬开展本学期中期课程档案检查工作。资料查阅涉及8个学院共44门课程档案、46门课程考试试卷,涵盖课程档案、试卷、电子资料等多领域。院督导组组长张政武老师对本学期督导工作进行了汇报后,各督导教师们纷纷发言,分享自己对教学督导工作的理解与展望。有着多年教学经验的李俊丽表示,深感责任重大,将不遗余力地深入课堂、深入教学一线,与授课教师们积极沟通交流,在发现问题的同时更注重协助解决问题,共同提升教学效果。

In this semester, the inspection has been steadily advanced  with accumulatively attending  88 classes and observing 10 classes which covers 39 courses with an excellent rate of 87%,which demonstrates an overall excellent teaching atmosphere. In late October, the mid-term course file inspection for this semester was carried out,including The document review involved 44 course files and 46 course examination papers from 8 colleges, covering multiple areas such as course files, examination papers, and electric materials. After the head of supervision team, Mr. Zhang Zhengwu, reported the supervision of this semester, other supervisor members shared their understanding and expectations for teaching supervision one after another. Li Junli, who has abundant teaching experience, expressed the great responsibility and would spare no effort to carry out in-depth classroom and teaching line, actively communicate and exchange with the teachers, more focus on assisting in solving the discovered problems to jointly improve teaching effectiveness.

面对督导给出的反馈,各专业教师紧密结合自身教学实践,纷纷畅所欲言。从课程考核、课程建设、学生管理、实验实训和个人成长等方面发表了自己的意见和困难,为学院后续教育教学优化工作锚定方向。

Facing the supervisors’ feedback, all teachers spoke freely by combining closely their own teaching practices . They expressed their opinions and difficulties from aspects such as course assessment, course construction, student management, experimental training, and personal growth, which provided a direction for the college's subsequent education and teaching optimization.

院长助理张仲鹏针对本次督导反馈、教师提出的困惑,当场给予了清晰明确的回应,并提出一系列改进措施。一方面,加速推进中方教学计划与大纲的完善工作,积极与美方深入沟通,全力优化课程大纲;紧锣密鼓地完善课程档案规范制度,并与教务处携手协同推进落实。另一方面,学院号召代课教师严格遵循学校考试与考核制度,严把学生考试资格关,落实各项考核指标,大力整治不良学风。

Assistant dean, Zhang Zhongpeng, gave clear and definite responses to the supervisors’feedback and the teachers’  confusion, and proposed a series of improvement measures. On the one hand, we will accelerate the improvement of the Chinese teaching plan and syllabus, actively communicate with the American side, and fully optimize the course syllabus.We will promptly improve the course file management system and work together with the Academic Affairs Office to implement it. On the other hand, we calls on teachers to strictly follow examination and assessment system of Shaanxi University of Technology, strictly control students' examination qualifications, implement various assessment indicators to vigorously rectify bad academic atmosphere.

学院督导组组长在会议临近尾声之际,着重强调教学质量始终是学院发展的根基命脉所在。全体教师务必高度重视督导反馈的问题,将各项改进措施扎实落地,持之以恒地锤炼教学技能。学院同样会全方位优化教学管理与服务保障体系,为教师的教学工作注入强劲动力,上下将齐心协力,以实际行动推动教学质量迈上新台阶,为师生成长与学院发展筑牢根基。

Near the end of the meeting, the head of the supervisor team emphasized that teaching quality is always the foundation and lifeblood of the institute's development. All teachers must attach great importance to the problems pointed out by the supervisors , implement various improvement measures solidly and persistently enhance their teaching skills. We will also comprehensively optimize the teaching management and service assurance system to inject strong impetus into teachers' teaching work, and work together to take practical actions to push teaching quality to a new level and lay solid foundation for the growth of teachers and students and the institute development.
