学越山海，对话世界。1月2日下午，特莱恩工学院在智慧教室9B101举办出国留学专题讲座，讲座由特莱恩工学院执行院长帅春江主持，由院长助理吴静，校外留学导师田文静联合讲授。来自特莱恩工学院、化学学院、机械学院、艺术学院、电气学院的110名学子踊跃参加，特莱恩工学院辅导员胡晋洲，崔建鑫，刘斌参与其中。
On the afternoon of January 2, Trine Engineering Institute held a special lecture on studying abroad in 9B101. The lecture was hosted by Executive Dean Shuai Chunjiang, and jointly taught by Dean Assistant Wu Jing and off campus mentor Tian Wenjing. 110 students from Trine Engineering Institute, School of Chemistry, School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Arts, and School of Electrical Engineering actively participated. Hu Jinzhou, Cui Jianxin, and Liu Bin also attended.
校外留学导师田文静首先提出“如何看待留学？”引发热议，从优势学科、学校排名、语言和绩点要求等对英国，澳大利亚，新西兰，新加坡，中国香港及中国澳门等30所海外学校以及国内11所中外合作办学的硕士专业做细致解读，并就学生们关注的出国留学成本、安全和就业等问题进行逐一解答。最后，她提出“实力具备，感知世界学术风采不再是梦”以鼓励学子们挑战自我，实现人生新目标。
Off campus mentor Tian Wenjing first raised the question of "How to view studying abroad?" which sparked a heated discussion. From the perspectives of advantageous disciplines, university rankings, language and GPA requirements, she interpreted the master programs offered by 30 overseas schools in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Macau, as well as 11 Sino-foreign cooperative colleges in China. She also answered students' quesitons about the cost, safety, and employment of studying abroad. Finally, she proposed that "Having the ability to perceive the international academic is no longer a dream" to encourage students to challenge themselves and achieve new life goals.
院长助理吴静以“勇敢的人先享受世界”为题，以“我的故事”娓娓道来，激发学子对世界学术舞台的无限向往。她曾获得全国大学生英语竞赛、英语辩论赛、“外研社杯”英语演讲赛全国冠军，曾担任G20财长会议首席翻译，尤其是雅思8分背后的努力付出都有力振奋了追梦学子。吴静以“学姐视角”从海外职业经历和学历提升等方面分享海外八年的精彩人生。她用“出国后更爱国”抒发深切爱国情怀，用“打破固有认知”激励学子敢于拼争，号召全体学子，用思考力和执行力拓展视野，在世界和风里祛魅，在人生大道上放歌。
Dean Assistant Wu Jing gave a speech titled "Brave People Enjoy the World First", narrating her personal story to inspire students’ dreams for the international academic stage. She has won national championships in the National College English Competition, English Debate Competition, and English Speech Competition. She has also served as the chief translator for the G20 Finance Ministers' Meeting, and she achieved an IELTS score of 8.0, which all greatly inspired students to improve English. Then Wu Jing shared her wonderful 8-year overseas life from the perspectives of overseas career experience and academic advancement. She inspired students to improve study and break traditional cognition, and called on all students to broaden their horizons with thinking and execution skills, dispel the charm in the world and achieve success in life path.
最后，特莱恩工学院执行院长帅春江做简要总结，并提出三点希望：一、合理规划学业，树立人生志向，做有笃定的人；二、善于学习榜样，与志和者为友，做优秀的人；三、攻克语言难关，和世界拥抱，做有格局的人。
Finally, Shuai Chunjiang, the Executive Dean of Trine Institute of Technology, made a brief summary and put forward three hopes: Firstly, to plan studies reasonably, set life goals, and become determined persons. Secondly, to learn from role models, make friends with those who share the same aspirations, and be excellent persons. Thirdly, to overcome language barriers, embrace the world, and become persons with great vision.
学院将持续开展海外留学讲座在内的学业和职业生涯规划，助力学子进一步“知不足，明方向，促进步”，把中方专业学习和外方课程耦合起来，把开拓国际化视野和成就精彩人生结合起来，推进人才培养质量再上新台阶。
The institute will continue to carry out academic and career planning, including overseas study lectures, to help students further understand their shortcomings, clarify their directions, and promote progress. It will combine Chinese professional learning with foreign courses, combine the exploration of international perspectives with the achievement of wonderful lives, and promote the quality of talent cultivation to a new level.
