To enhance students' English speaking skills and intercultural communication awareness, and to create a positive atmosphere for English learning, Trine Engineering Institute hosts a series of “i Talk” English salons.

10月18日下午，第一期英语沙龙活动在博思楼1208顺利开展。本次活动由外籍教师Mary与英语课程组负责人苏红莲联合主持。10名学生主动报名参加了本期沙龙活动。主题讨论环节，2022级学生史翔宇分享了自己赴美带薪实习的经历，2024级学生钟中分享了前往不同国家旅行时由于文化差异导致的令人啼笑皆非的经历。自由交流环节，同学们分享自己的兴趣爱好，介绍自己的家乡，讨论如何有效提升英语口语表达能力。现场气氛热烈。

On the afternoon of October 18th, the first session of the i Talk English Salon was successfully held in Room 1208, Bosi Building. The event was co-hosted by foreign teacher Mary and the head of the English course team, Su Honglian. Ten students volunteered to participate in this salon event. During the theme discussion session, Shi Xiangyu shared his experience of paid internships in the United States, and Zhong Zhong shared amusing experiences caused by cultural differences during travels to various countries. During the free exchange session, students shared their hobbies, introduced their hometowns, and discussed how to effectively improve English speaking skills. The atmosphere was lively.
