Trine Engineering Institute Held 2025 Spring Semester Meeting and Conducted a Series of Preparations for the New Semester
2025年2月22日，特莱恩工学院正式启动春季开学准备工作。学院通过召开行政工作例会、开展开学检查、迎接教务处专项检查以及组织课程组教研活动等一系列举措，确保新学期各项工作顺利开展，为全院师生营造了良好的教学和学习环境。
On February 22, 2025, Trine Engineering Institute officially launched its preparations for the spring semester. Through a series of measures, including holding an administration meeting, conducting teaching inspection, inspections from the Academic Affairs Office, and organizing teaching and research activities, the institute ensured the smooth progress for the new semester, creating a favorable teaching and learning environment for all faculty and students.
一、行政工作例会：全面部署新学期工作
Administration Meeting: Comprehensive Deployment of New Semester Tasks
2025年2月22日上午，特莱恩工学院执行院长帅春江、院长助理张仲鹏、吴静，实验室主任段博峰、科研秘书王乐敏和办公室全体成员在学院教师办公室召开新学期教学、行政工作例会。会上，帅春江院长就2025年特莱恩工学院科研和教学安排、人才培养计划、师资队伍建设、课程体系改革与课程建设、教学改革项目、国际交流合作等十大工作任务进行详细安排与周密部署。参会人员结合各自工作职责，落实好新学期工作任务，为完成合作办学评估和学院高质量发展提前布局。
On the morning of February 22, 2025, Trine Engineering Institute held a teaching and administration meeting for the new semester. The meeting was attended by Executive Dean Shuai Chunjiang, Assistant Deans Zhang Zhongpeng and Wu Jing, Laboratory Director Duan Bofeng, Research Secretary Wang Lemin, and all members of the office. During the meeting, Dean Shuai Chunjiang provided detailed arrangements for ten major tasks for Trine Engineering Institute in 2025, including scientific research and teaching plans, talent cultivation programs, faculty team building, curriculum system reform and course construction, teaching reform projects, and international exchange and cooperation, which layed the groundwork in advance for the successful completion of the cooperative education evaluation and the high-quality development of the institute.
二、学院开展开学检查工作
Institute Conducted Semester-Start Inspection
为确保2025年春季学期教学工作顺利开展，学院根据学校相关要求，组织开展了开学初第一周教学检查工作。学院安排第一周检查必须做到全覆盖、不定时、无死角，截至2月28日，对开设的72节课程进行逐一检查，平均到课率97.46%。未到学生因病、因事已办理请假手续，旷课仅为个位数，学生到课率、前排率均在前列。开学教学检查工作将常态化、持续进行。
To ensure the smooth progress of teaching activities for the 2025 spring semester, the institute organized a teaching inspection during the first week of the semester in accordance with the university's requirements. The inspection covered all aspects of teaching. By February 28, a total of 72 courses had been inspected, with an average attendance rate of 97.46%. Students who were absent due to illness or personal matters had completed leave application procedures, and the number of unexcused absences was in the single digits. Both student attendance rates and front-row seating rates ranked among the highest. The semester-start teaching inspection will be conducted regularly and continuously throughout the semester.
三、教务处检查组来我院检查
Academic Affairs Office Inspection Team Visits Our Institute
2025年2月28日，教务处副处长王亚辉联合本科教学督导一行6人到特莱恩工学院开展春季学期开学教学检查工作会议。特莱恩工学院直属党支部书记朱智鸿、执行院长帅春江、院长助理、两办主任、教师代表和教务员等参加会议。会议由特莱恩工学院执行院长帅春江主持。帅春江院长详细汇报了学院的教学运行开展情况，学院已按照教务处的要求，完成了开学前的各项准备工作，他还就本学期学院的教学工作计划做了简要说明。检查组查阅了我院本学期开设课程的教学资料。最后，双方就成绩置换、学分置换、培养方案以及中外合作办学评估工作的相关问题等进行了深入研讨。
On February 28, 2025, Wang Yahui, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office, along with a team of six teaching supervisors, visited Trine Engineering Institute to conduct teaching inspection for the spring semester. The meeting was attended by Zhu Zhihong, the institute's directly affiliated Party Branch Secretary, Executive Dean Shuai Chunjiang, assistant deans, directors of both offices, faculty representatives, and academic staff. Dean Shuai provided a detailed report on the institute's teaching operations, stating that the institute had completed all pre-semester preparations in accordance with the requirements of the Academic Affairs Office. He also gave a brief overview of the institute's teaching plans for the semester. The inspection team reviewed the teaching materials for the courses offered this semester. Finally, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on issues related to grade substitution, credit substitution, training programs, and the evaluation of Sino-foreign cooperative education.
四、各课程组开展教研活动
Teaching and Research Activities Conducted by Curriculum Groups
为提升教师的教学水平和科研能力，学院英语课程组、中美融合课程组、工科特色课程组在开学前积极开展了教研活动。各教研室围绕新学期的课程设计、教学方法创新、科研项目申报等主题进行了深入讨论。教师们分享了各自的教学经验和科研心得，并就如何更好地将科研成果融入课堂教学进行了探讨。通过教研活动，教师们不仅加深了对新学期教学任务的理解，还进一步明确了科研方向，为新学期的教学和科研工作打下了坚实基础。
To enhance the teaching and research capabilities of faculty members, the English Curriculum Group, the Sino-American Integrated Curriculum Group, and the Engineering Specialty Curriculum Group at the institute actively organized teaching and research activities before the start of the semester. Each group conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as course design, teaching methods innovation, and research project. Faculty members shared their teaching experiences and research insights, exploring ways to better integrate research results into classroom teaching. Through these activities, faculty members not only gained a deeper understanding of the teaching tasks for the new semester but also further layed a solid foundation for teaching and research work in the new semester.

The 2025 spring semester preparations at Trine Engineering institute have been fully launched.
