Empower International Vision: Trine Engineering Institute Launched Specialized English Training Program for Faculty
为深化国际化教学改革，提升教师双语授课与跨文化交流能力，着力打造具有全球视野、国际竞争力的高水平师资队伍，积极营造特莱恩工学院全体师生双语工作氛围，提升学院全体教师和行政管理人员的英语语言能力，学院英语语言中心于3月13日启动“教职工英语能力提升专题培训计划”，首期培训特邀外籍教师Mary进行英语培训，聚集英语听说交流技能。学院全体教师、行政人员和全体辅导员参加本次培训。
To deepen international teaching reform and enhance faculty capabilities in bilingual instruction and cross-cultural communication, Trine Engineering Institute has launched the "Faculty English Proficiency Enhancement Training Program" on March 13. The initiative aims to cultivate a high-caliber faculty team with global perspectives and international competitiveness while fostering a bilingual work environment for both staff and students. The first session featured Ms. Mary, a foreign instructor, focusing on English listening and speaking skills. All faculty members, administrative staff, and academic counselors participated in the training.
Mary从寒假生活和开学工作引出话题，采用"情境模拟+即时反馈"模式，组织模拟教学和日常工作场景，开展沉浸式教学，再从英语常用时态和口语技巧引导教职工用英语表达观点，提升英语听说能力。培训中Mary组织教师分组进行情景对话，鼓励大家克服开口说英语的心理障碍，大胆交流。在Mary的积极引导和教授下，教职工积极用英语分享、交流，课堂氛围热烈。培训结束后，教职工纷纷表示，此次活动针对性强，实用性高。通过英语能力提升专题培训，对提升英语实际运用能力有很大帮助。
Ms. Mary initiated the session by discussing winter break experiences and new-semester work. Employing a "scenario simulation + real-time feedback" approach, she conducted immersive training through simulated teaching and workplace scenarios. She guided participants in applying English tenses and oral communication techniques to express ideas effectively. Attendees were grouped for situational dialogues, encouraged to overcome psychological barriers and engage confidently in English conversations. Under Ms. Mary's guidance, the session fostered active participation and lively discussions. Post-training feedback highlighted the program's practicality and targeted effectiveness, with participants acknowledging significant improvements in real-world English application.
我院将持续推进教职工英语能力提升专题培训，定期开展系列活动，在不断探索实践中提升自身语言能力，为培养具有国际视野、跨文化交际能力的高素质人才奠定坚实基础，助力学院在中外合作办学的道路上不断开拓创新。
The institute will continue advancing this specialized training through regular workshops, aiming to strengthen language proficiency and lay a robust foundation for nurturing globally competent talent with cross-cultural communication skills.
