9月28日晚7点，2025年陕西省中外合作办学学生外语演讲比赛陕西理工大学赛区预选赛在9B教学楼101报告厅顺利举行。陕西省中外合作办学学生外语演讲比赛由中共陕西省委教育工委、陕西省教育厅主办，陕西理工大学特莱恩工学院负责组织本校预选赛选拔。特莱恩工学院院长助理吴静、外教Jaco、外教Mary、李俊丽、高虎担任此次比赛的评委。
At 7 p.m.on the evening of September 28, the preliminary contest of the 2025 Shaanxi Provincial Foreign Language Speech Contest for Students in Sino-foreign Cooperative Education Programs in Shaanxi University of Technology was successfully held in the 9B101 . The Shaanxi Provincial Foreign Language Speech Contest for Students in Sino-foreign Cooperative Education Programs is hosted by the Education Working Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee and the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education, and Trine Engineering Institute of Shaanxi University of Technology is responsible for organizing the preliminary selection of the school. Wu Jing, dean assistant of Trine Engineer Institute, foreign teachers Jaco and Mary, Li Junli, and Gao Hu served as the judges of the contest.
比赛伊始，特莱恩工学院执行院长在致辞中表示，此次比赛层级高、影响广，旨在引导学生深入理解习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想，增强文化自信与跨文化沟通能力。他强调，比赛不仅是语言能力的竞技，更是思想交流和青春风采的展示平台，并鼓励选手把握机会、奋勇争先，力争在后续省级赛事中再创佳绩，展现我校中外合作办学学子的卓越素养与时代担当。
At the beginning of the contest, the executive dean of Trine Engineering Institute said in his speech that the contest is with high level and wide influence. It aims to guide students to deeply understand Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and enhance their cultural confidence and cross-cultural communication ability. He emphasized that the contest is not only a competition of language ability, but also a platform for thinking exchange and the display of youthfulness. He encouraged the contestants to seize the opportunity, strive to be the first, and strive to achieve good results in the subsequent provincial——level competitions, showing the excellent qualities and era responsibilities of the students in the Sino-foreign cooperative education programs of our school.
经过前期特莱恩工学院英语语言中心的培训和组织，来自特莱恩工学院不同专业的12名选手依次登台，围绕“文化自信”、“中华文化传承与创新”、“一带一路”、“人工智能”、“青年使命”等时代议题展开演讲。选手们凭借流利的外语表达、独到的思想见解和饱满的情感投入，赢得了现场观众的阵阵掌声。每位选手在完成6分钟的主题演讲后，还接受了1分钟的现场提问，充分展现了出色的临场应变能力与思维深度。
After the previous training and organization by the English Language Center of the Trine Engineering Institute, 12 contestants from different majors of the Trine Engineering Institute successively took the stage to give speeches around the era topics such as "cultural confidence", "the inheritance and innovation of Chinese culture", "the Belt and Road Initiative", "artificial intelligence", and "the mission of youth". The contestants won applause from the on-site audience with their fluent foreign language expression, unique ideological insights, and full emotional investment. After each contestant completed a 6—minute themed speech, they also accepted a 1 - minute on—site question, fully demonstrating their excellent on - the - spot response ability and thinking depth.
演讲环节结束后，外教Jaco进行了专业点评。他高度肯定了选手们的整体表现：“各位选手的演讲内容紧扣时代脉搏，兼具文化深度与青年温度。从语言表达来看，大家发音标准、用词精准；从逻辑结构来看，多数选手能够做到论证充分，展现出扎实的综合素养。每位选手表现自信，值得祝贺。“After the speech session ended, the foreign teacher Jaco gave a professional comment. He highly affirmed the overall performance of the contestants: "The speech contents are closely linked to the pulse of the times, with both cultural depth and the warmth of youth. In terms of language expression, everyone has a standard pronunciation and accurate word choice; in terms of logical structure, most contestants can fully demonstrate their arguments, showing a solid comprehensive quality. Each contestant performed confidently and is worthy of congratulations."
比赛间隙，参赛选手还带来了精彩的才艺展示，为紧张的赛事增添了轻松愉快的氛围。经过激烈角逐，张熙然同学凭借出色表现荣获特等奖及最佳语音奖；石城安、赵曼君获得一等奖；王家乐、严琪超、陈思彤获得二等奖；徐昕圩、张可涵、朱大哲、杨裕成、高源珠、孙乐源获得三等奖。王家乐和高源珠分别获得最佳风采奖和最佳人气奖。
During the intermission of the contest, the contestants also brought wonderful talent shows, adding a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere to the tense competition. After intense competition, Zhang Xiran won the Supreme prize and the best pronunciation award. Shi Chengan and Zhao Manjun won the first prize; Wang Jiale, Yan Qichao, and Chen Sitong won the second prize; Xu Xinwei, Zhang Kehan, Zhu Dazhe, Yang Yucheng, Gao Yuanzhu, and Sun Leyuan won the third prize. Wang Jiale and Gao Yuanzhu won the best presence award and the best popularity award respectively.
最后，特莱恩工学院院长助理吴静在总结致辞中向所有参赛选手表示热烈祝贺，并对评委及工作人员的辛勤付出表示衷心感谢。她表示：“本次比赛充分展现了我校中外合作办学学子优秀的外语表达能力、思辨素养与文化自信。选手们紧扣时代主题讲述中国故事，彰显出新时代青年的国际视野与使命担当。”他特别勉励获奖同学继续打磨演讲技巧，提升综合能力，积极备战后续省级赛事，在更广阔的舞台上展现陕西理工大学学子的卓越风采。
Finally, Wu Jing, the dean assistant of Trine Engineering Institute, expressed warm congratulations to all the contestants in her concluding speech and heartfelt thanks to the judges and staff. She said: "This contest has fully demonstrated the excellent foreign language expression ability, critical thinking literacy, and cultural confidence of the students in the Sino-foreign cooperative education programs of our school. The contestants closely adhered to the theme of the times to tell Chinese stories, demonstrating the international vision and mission of youth in the new era." The successful holding of this preliminary contest not only built an important platform for students in Sino-foreign cooperative education programs to show themselves and exchange with each other, but also effectively improved the students' foreign language application ability and cultural communication awareness through the method of "promoting learning and practice through competition". As the core force of foreign language teaching and competition guidance, the English Language Center of the institute has long been committed to building an educational ecology of "integration of teaching, practice, and competition". It not only consolidates the students' language foundation in classroom teaching, but also integrates the competition standards into daily training through organizing activities such as mock debates and speech training, providing a solid ladder for students to move from the classroom to the competition field.
