喜报!我校学子在第八届全国高校学生跨文化能力大赛省赛中斩获佳绩

 

Congratulations! Our University Students Achieved Excellent Results in the Provincial Competition of the 8th National College Students Intercultural Competence Contest

 

 

10月17日至19日,第八届“外教社杯”全国高校学生跨文化能力大赛陕西赛区决赛在西安石油大学雁塔校区圆满落幕。本次赛事吸引全省40所高校同台竞技,我校学子凭借扎实的专业素养与出色的临场表现,最终斩获省级二等奖。

From October 17th to 19th, the Shaanxi Division final of the 8th "SFLEP Cup" National College Students Intercultural Competence Contest was successfully concluded at the Yanta Campus of Xi'an Shiyou University. This competition attracted 40 universities from across the province to compete on the same stage. Our university's students, relying on their solid professional competence and outstanding on-the-spot performance, ultimately won the provincial second prize.

由国际发展与教育学院英语2403班刘茹静、艺术学院舞编2402班邓亦晴及特莱恩工学院电气2401班陶怡舟组成参赛团队代表陕西理工大学赴西安石油大学参与省级决赛。

The team representing Shaanxi University of Technology at the provincial final in Xi'an consisted of Liu Rujing from Class 2403, English major, School of International Development and Education; Deng Yiqing from Class 2402, Choreography major, School of Art; and Tao Yizhou from Class 2401, Electrical Engineering major, Trine Engineering Institute..

比赛中,团队以跨境电商为案例切入点,生动诠释东西方文化差异,案例展析环节,运用跨文化交际理论深度剖析案例中的文化冲突,并提出切实可行的解决方案;问答环节,选手们逻辑缜密、表达流畅,凭借过硬的综合能力赢得现场阵阵掌声。闭幕式上,专家教授对我校选手的精彩表现给予高度评价与细致点评。

During the competition, the team used a cross-border e-commerce case as their entry point, vividly illustrating the cultural differences between East and West. In the case analysis segment, they applied intercultural communication theories to deeply analyze the cultural conflicts within the case and proposed practical solutions. In the Q&A session, the contestants demonstrated logical rigor and fluent expression, winning rounds of applause from the audience with their strong comprehensive abilities. At the closing ceremony, expert professors provided high praise and detailed commentary on the excellent performance of our university's contestants.

据悉,跨文化能力大赛以“坚定文化自信,增进国际理解”为永恒主题,不仅为陕西高校学子搭建了展示自我、切磋交流的优质平台,更对培养具备中国情怀与国际视野的跨文化复合型人才具有重要推动作用。推动中华文化更好走向全世界,深化人类文明交流互鉴,促进世界和平发展。

It is reported that the Intercultural Competence Contest has the eternal theme of "Strengthening Cultural Confidence, Enhancing International Understanding." It not only provides a high-quality platform for students in Shaanxi universities to showcase themselves and learn from each other but also plays a significant role in cultivating interdisciplinary talents with Chinese sentiments and international perspectives, who possess intercultural competence. This contributes to promoting Chinese culture globally, deepening exchanges and mutual learning among human civilizations, and fostering world peace and development.

近年来,我院学生积极参与各类英语赛事,投身英语演讲、辩论等实践活动,在以赛促学中持续提升英语水平与综合素养。2025年4月,我院电气专业2024级学生张熙然和陶怡舟代表我校参加第27届“外研社 国才杯”全国大学生英语辩论赛华西地区复赛中获得省级银奖。此次“外教社杯”全国高校学生跨文化能力大是我院学生在中国高校大学生英语类权威赛事中的又一突破。

In recent years, students from our institute have actively participated in various English competitions and engaged in practical activities such as English speeches and debates. Through using competitions to promote learning, they have continuously enhanced their English proficiency and comprehensive qualities. In April 2025, Zhang Xiran and Tao Yizhou, Class of 2024 Electrical Engineering majors from our institute, represented our university and won a provincial silver award in the West Chinaregional semifinal of the 27th "FLTRP·ETIC Cup" National English Debatin Competition for College Students. This "SFLEP Cup" National College Students Intercultural Competence Contest represents another breakthrough for our students in authoritative English competitions for Chinese university students.
