Good News! Students from Trine Engineering Institute Achieved Outstanding Results in the Shaanxi Regional Competition of National Undergraduate Mechanical Innovation Competition
5月8日至10日，第十二届全国大学生机械创新设计大赛陕西赛区竞赛在长安大学渭水校区成功举办。特莱恩工学院参赛团队最终斩获省级一等奖1项、省级二等奖3项。
From May 8 to 10, the Shaanxi Regional Competition of the 12th National Undergraduate Mechanical Innovational Competition was successfully held at the Weishui Campus of Chang'an University. The teams from Trine Engineering Institute ultimately won 1 first prize and 3 second prizes at the provincial level.

全国大学生机械创新设计大赛是经教育部高等教育司批准举办的A类竞赛，被誉为机械专业学生竞赛的最高殿堂。自赛事启动以来，学院高度重视，积极对接校赛承办单位机械工程学院，协同做好了从学生动员、方案指导、实物制作到样机调试、校赛选拔以及参加省赛的全过程支持工作。学院不仅为参赛团队提供了专用实验室和相关设备仪器工具，还通过报销观摩赛事学生差旅费等方式全力保驾护航。最终，我院选送的4支队伍全部通过作品检录并获得参赛资格，凭借现场作品演示与答辩讲解，成功揽获省级大奖。
The National Undergraduate Mechanical Innovational Competition is a Class A competition approved by the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and recognized as the top competition for mechanical engineering students. Since the competition began, the Institute has attached great importance to it and actively coordinated with the School of Mechanical Engineering, the organizer of the university-level competition. Together, they have provided comprehensive support throughout the entire process from student mobilization, project guidance, and prototype production to prototype debugging, university-level competition selection, and participation in the provincial competition. The Institute not only provided the participating teams with dedicated laboratories and the necessary equipment and tools, but also offered full support by reimbursing travel expenses for students observing and participating in the competition.In the end, all four teams selected by the Institute passed the project review and obtained the qualification for the competition. Thanks to their outstanding on-site project demonstrations and oral presentations, they successfully won provincial-level awards.
学院始终秉持工程教育理念，高度重视学生课外科技活动。通过成立学科竞赛领导小组、设立专项经费保障、聘请校外企业专家与校内优秀教师组建“双创导师库”等多项举措，为学生搭建起多学科融合的科创平台。学院持续开展项目式教学，组织专业教师全程跟进指导，为参赛队伍提供全方位的精准帮扶，学院不断引导学生打破理论与实践的壁垒，让专业知识在工程实践中落地生花。
Upholding the principles of engineering education, the Institute has always placed great emphasis on students' extracurricular science and technology activities. Through a series of initiatives including the establishment of a leadership group for academic competitions, the allocation of dedicated funding, and the creation of a “mentor pool for innovation and entrepreneurship” comprising external industry experts and outstanding faculty members, the Institute has built a multidisciplinary platform for scientific and technological innovation of its students. The Institute implements project-based education, organizing faculty members to provide ongoing guidance and comprehensive, targeted support to participating teams, and consistently encourages students to bridge the gap between theory and practice, enabling them to apply professional knowledge effectively in engineering practice.
