为进一步帮助学生明晰留学规划，系统了解海外升学路径，科学准备留学申请，6月6日下午，特莱恩工学院在融创空间成功举办2025年度“下午茶”系列活动——院长助理“茶香话留学”和“学院面对面”交流活动。“茶香话留学”活动由院长助理吴静主持，学办副主任梅晶及校外留学导师出席活动。随后，执行院长帅春江，院长助理吴静、张仲鹏与各学生代表进行“面对面”交流。
To further assist students in clarifying their study abroad plans, gaining a systematic understanding of overseas academic pathways, and preparing their applications scientifically, Trine Engineering Institute held its 2025 "Afternoon Tea" event series on the afternoon of June 6 at the Innovation Space. The series featured two key sessions: "Tea Aroma & Study Abroad Talks" and "Institute Face-to-Face" exchanges. The "Tea Aroma & Study Abroad Talks" session was hosted by Dean Assistant Wu Jing, with Deputy Director of the student Affairs Office Mei Jing and external study abroad advisors in attendance. Subsequently, Executive Dean Shuai Chunjiang, Deans Assistant WU Jing and ZHANG Zhongpeng, along engaged in face-to-face discussions with student representatives.
活动伊始，茶香袅袅。第一部分聚焦留学规划与升学指导。院长助理吴静首先分析了近5年（2020年-2024年）的考研趋势，指出竞争加剧的背景下，多元化选择已成趋势。随后，她深入解析了香港、新加坡、英国、美国等热门留学目的地的教育特色、学制、质量、环境、申请要求（GPA、语言成绩、科研/实习背景、综合能力评估）及费用等关键信息，精准对比其差异化优势与申请要点。吴静老师还结合真实案例，为同学们提供了切实可行的申请策略与背景提升建议。针对2022级已启动留学申请的同学，她根据其学业成绩、雅思备考进展、推荐信准备等情况进行了深入指导。校外留学导师田老师也分享了宝贵的雅思高分备考技巧。同学们全程专注聆听，积极提问，现场互动氛围热烈。
Amidst the fragrance of tea, the event commenced. The first segment focused on study abroad planning and application guidance. Dean Assistant Wu Jing first analyzed the postgraduate entrance exam trends over the past five years (2020-2024), pointing out that diversified choices have become a trend amidst intensifying competition. Subsequently, she provided an in-depth analysis of key information for popular study destinations like Hong Kong, Singapore, the UK, and the US. This included their educational characteristics, academic systems, quality, environment, application requirements (GPA, language scores, research/internship background, comprehensive ability assessment), and costs. She precisely compared their differentiated advantages and key application points. Drawing on real cases, Wu Jing also offered practical application strategies and suggestions for enhancing applicants' profiles. For students from the Class of 2022 who have already initiated their study abroad applications, she provided detailed guidance tailored to their academic performance, IELTS preparation progress, and recommendation letter preparations. External study abroad mentor, Teacher Tian, also shared valuable tips for achieving high scores on the IELTS exam. Students listened attentively throughout, asked questions actively, and engaged in lively discussions with the mentors.
活动第二部分为院长和院长助理与学生代表交流互动环节。执行院长帅春江与院长助理张仲鹏、吴静耐心倾听了同学们近期在学业与生活上的困惑。帅院长首先解读了学校关于生产实习的政策与要求，强调实习旨在提升专业素养与个人竞争力。他详细解答了同学们普遍关心的如何在假期中平衡生产实习、考研复习与留学准备等难题。院长助理张仲鹏则就生产实习的具体实施细则以及同学们关心的其他问题提供了解答。
The second session featured an interactive exchange between the Executive Dean, Dean Assistants and student representatives. Executive Dean Shuai Chunjang and Dean Assistant Zhang Zhongpeng Wu Jing patiently listened to students' recent academic and life concerns. Dean Shuai first interpreted the university's policies and requirements regarding industrial internships, emphasizing that internships aim to enhance professional skills and personal competitiveness. He provided detailed answers to common student concerns, such as how to balance industrial internships, postgraduate exam preparation, and study abroad preparations during holidays. Dean Assistant Zhang Zhongpeng then addressed specific implementation details of the industrial internships and answered other questions raised by students.
