美国特莱恩大学全球合作事务部来校就中外合作办学教育培养事宜进行商谈
Global Cooperation Department at Trine University Visits Our University for Cooperative Education and Training
7月9-11日,美国特莱恩大学全球合作事务部主任Jenson Jiang和国际项目主管Anran来我校访问,就中外合作办学教育培养相关事宜进行商谈,并实地调研我校教育教学设施环境。7月10日下午,双方召开了中外合作办学事项商谈会,我校副校长、特莱恩工学院院长王磊,国际合作与交流处、教务处、财务处部门负责人,以及特莱恩工学院、机械工程学院、电气工程学院、数学与计算机科学学院院长和专业负责人参加了商谈会。会议由国际合作与交流处处长谭娟主持。
From July 9 to 11, Jenson Jiang, director of the Global Cooperation Department, and Anran, International project manager of Trine University in the United States, visited our university to discuss matters related to cooperative education and training between the two sides. They also took a closer look at our educational facilities and environment. On the afternoon of July 10, a meeting was held to discuss matters regarding cooperative education. Wang Lei, vice president of our university and dean of the Trine Engineering Institute, along with the heads of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, the Academic Affairs Office, and the Financial Affairs Office, as well as the deans and program directors from the Trine Engineering Institute, the School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Electrical Engineering, and the School of Mathematics and Computer Science, attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Tan Juan, director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office.

王磊首先对Jenson一行来校访问表示欢迎,在肯定我校特莱恩工学院办学过程中所取得的成效的同时,表达了对美国特莱恩大学深度融合参与、积极回应支持的真挚感谢。他希望双方能够突破壁垒、精诚共进,在本科层次合作办学的基础上,进一步推进双方学校的交流往来,加强在人才培养、学术交流、科研合作等方面的深度合作。Jenson简要回顾了双方学校的合作历程,对我校长期以来给予的信任和帮助表示感谢,并代表特莱恩大学表达了与我校携手推进中外合作办学机构良性、健康发展的意愿。
Wang Lei first extended a warm welcome to Jenson and his fellow, recognizing the achievements of the Trine Engineering Institute at our university and expressing sincere gratitude for Trine University's deep engagement, active support, and positive responses. He hoped that both sides could work together to navigate barriers to enhance exchanges and cooperation in talent cultivation, academic exchange, and scientific research on the back of undergraduate education collaboration. Jenson briefly reviewed the history of cooperation between the two universities, expressing gratitude for our university's longstanding trust and assistance. He also conveyed Trine University's willingness to collaborate with our university in securing the sound and sustainable development of the Sino-foreign cooperative educational institution.


会上,特莱恩工学院执行院长帅春江就我校中外合作办学机构的建设情况、教育教学、发展规划、学生管理和生活保障等进行了全面的总结与汇报。随后,教务处副处长任志贵、财务处处长仝永刚分别就培养方案修订、学籍注册时间、财务协议修订等事项与美方代表进一步沟通确认。机械工程学院院长白海清、数学与计算机学院副院长达列雄分别就课程设置问题与Jenson交流,希望在双方共同努力下,修订并实施减负高效的课程融合方案。特莱恩工学院直属党支部书记张晓霞,还就学生赴特莱恩大学交流学习、提升学历的实施细节与美方代表代表进行了协商。
At the meeting, Shuai Chunjiang, executive dean of the Trine Engineering Institute, provided a comprehensive summary and report on the operation of the cooperative educational institution, including teaching, development planning, student management, and welfare. Later, Ren Zhigui, deputy director of the Academic Affairs Office, and Tong Yonggang, director of the Financial Affairs Office, further communicated and confirmed with the American representatives on issues related to the revision of training programs, student registration time, and financial agreements. Bai Haiqing, dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering, and Da Liexiong, associate dean of the School of Mathematics and Computer Science, discussed course design issues with Jenson, expressing the hope for joint efforts in revising and implementing a streamlined and efficient curriculum integration plan. Zhang Xiaoxia, secretary of the Trine Engineering Institute's Party Branch, also consulted with the American representatives on the specific implementation of student exchange and academic credential enhancement at Trine University.
最后,谭娟总结并强调,陕西理工大学特莱恩工学院的设立,是两校在国际化办学上取得标志性成果,对双方引进优质教育资源、提升开放办学质量、服务中美人文教育交流具有重要意义。为此,两校要密切沟通、深化合作,在办好特莱恩工学院的同时,努力在科研合作、创业创新、国际产学研用等方面开拓创新。
Lastly, Tan Juan summarized and emphasized that the establishment of the Trine Engineering Institute at Shaanxi University of Technology is a significant achievement for both universities in terms of education internationalization. It has vital implications for introducing high-quality educational resources, improving the quality of open education, and serving cultural and educational exchanges between China and the United States. To make it happen, both universities should maintain close communication, deepen cooperation, and strive to develop and innovate in scientific research cooperation, entrepreneurship and innovation, and international industry-academia-research-utilization while managing the Trine Engineering Institute.
访问期间,Jenson一行前往我校南北两个校区,实地参观了特莱恩工学院的办公场所、教学实验场地,以及学校校史馆、周培源纪念馆等,加深了对我校办学历史和教育培养实力的了解,为后期师生线下交流互访做好了调研准备。
During the visit, Jenson and his fellow went for the northern and southern campuses of our university, where they had a firsthand experience of the Trine Engineering Institute's office spaces, teaching laboratories, as well as the university's history museum, and Zhou Peiyuan Memorial Hall. This visit deepened their understanding of our university's educational history and strength and made it possible for future offline exchanges and visits by teachers and students of the two sides.
